Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

“At William Rose School, we are devoted to nurturing every student’s potential within a safe and inclusive environment. Our passionate and dedicated staff collaborate closely with families and the wider community to ensure that students with disabilities not only excel academically but also develop strong physical, mental, and emotional well-being. We are committed to equipping our students with the skills and confidence needed for a fulfilling and independent life beyond school.

Student wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. We value student agency, leadership, and the importance of creating an inclusive culture where every learner feels supported and celebrated. Our classrooms are dynamic spaces where every child is encouraged to actively participate, ask questions, and take ownership of their learning. We focus on building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, while also providing rich opportunities for students to express themselves through the creative arts, work collaboratively in sport, and develop the daily living skills they need for the future. Lessons are individualised and carefully designed to be purposeful and engaging, to ensure that every learner can succeed.

As Principal, I am privileged to lead such a vibrant and caring school community. I believe in working in partnership with parents and carers, and I encourage you to be actively involved in your child’s education. Together, we can nurture the unique strengths of our students, fostering curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Thank you for visiting our website. I warmly invite you to explore our pages and discover the many inspiring experiences and successes happening at William Rose School.”
