School planning and reporting

Planning and reporting help us meet the needs of our community, improve the quality of teaching and enhance outcomes for all of our students.

The William Rose School community prides itself on promoting self-worth, self-awareness and personal identity.

Keeping the end in mind is vital when working with our students to teach them the life skills required once they leave school to ‘learn to live'.

We are committed to a shared vision that fosters an inclusive school culture. This is evident in the ways in which we guide, inspire and challenge our diverse student population, giving students a voice.

Every student is given the opportunity to achieve his or her individual learning goals and develop skills for future success and wellbeing in life.

As a staff we are committed to reflecting on our practice, respecting student and community ideas and exploring innovative teaching and learning.

William Rose School are proud to publish our school plan, which has been developed by engaging the school community to create a shared long-term vision.

Our school plan brings focus to the purpose of 3 strategic directions designed to bring about school growth and transformation.

School plan

We have developed a 3 year plan in consultation with our community, connected to a budget and student outcomes.

The School Excellence Framework underpins our school planning and reporting approach. The framework provides a clear description of the key elements of high-quality practice across learning, teaching and leading.

The school plan is highly strategic, focusing on 3 key areas for improvement we have determined in consultation with our community. It demonstrates our alignment and commitment to excellence as part of public education in NSW to ensure a profound difference to the ongoing growth and development of our school.
