Programs

At William Rose School, students from Kindergarten to Year 12 are provided an educational environment, which is supportive of individual strengths and needs.

To ensure that each child is enabled to lead independent lives in their future.

School and community partners including external agencies and organisations, parents, carers, teachers and school learning support officers collaboratively commit to providing individualised, challenging and rewarding learning experiences, which cater for students' unique learning needs.

We are dedicated to individualised learning as outlined through individual person centred learning plans (PCLPs) for all our students including students with sensory and vision impairment, intellectual disabilities and high support needs through a collaborative curriculum planning process.

Our curriculum framework provides deep and broad opportunities for all students with content taken from a range of sources including NSW Education Standards Authority, Early Years Framework, Australian Curriculum, ASDAN, other highly endorsed programs, TAFE (technical and further education) and work place learning.

Parents, carers and families are the pivotal partners in meeting the educational needs of our students. We build positive relationships with parents in educational planning and implementation through a range of formal and informal processes.
